It hurts up to about 45 feet away and the bb's travel very far. Its comfortable, sturdy but fairly light and has some cool accesories right out of the box. Be sure the seller gives you in included speed loader! The cartridge has a medium capacity which is about 21 BB's but that can hold you over long enough in a battle. The wood is obviously fake has no texture but this seller is really pushing it (just look at his pic). That has no effect on the gun while you use it but I guess its a bit oldschool if you really like it. Good luck and good hunting go get this gun!!
