Comment: The item we ordered is not what we got. We were sent an email stating that the gun had been shiped. Four days later we recieved a phone call saying that the gun was out of stock. I told them it had already been shiped. They told me it had not. They asked if we wanted to replace it with a comprable gun. We said yes, not to disapoint our son. The gun came and was not even electric. Which in our opion was not comprable.

Summary: this gun is reliable 2007-01-13
Comment: very reliable. i got it to at a local swapmeet. you might guess its crappy quality since its from the swapmeet but guess again. the guy i bought it from knew his stuff. i bought it for $30. i played about 3 hours of airsoft with 5 of my other friends. i have an m83 but i relied on this gun much more. i had the most kills in all of the 3 hours. whether close quarters or from afar i still owned the arena. keep in mind it is pretty windy tonight. the power of this gun is amazing for a lpeg.
most of my buddies are purchasing one now.
people who say it sucks in battle are probably just crappy at airsofting.

Summary: It's...ok 2006-10-19
Comment: This is my first AEG. I do have experience fireing Tokyo Marui AEG's.
I bought this gun as a beginner in the sport of airsoft. When it arrived I was excited and opened the box immediatly. The gun was well packed and contained the gun, magazine, battery, charger and silencer. The directions are terrible. The gun is underpowered if you are going to be using .20g BB's.
The magazines are a bit hard to load with the included loader but hold 50 rounds each.
This gun fires very nicely when using well aimed semi-auto shots. Whem placed on full-auto the gun jammed after about 10 rounds, twice in a row. I then tried placing the gun on full-auto and fire 2 and 3 round bursts and the gun jammed again.
Accuracy was good until I reached about 30 feet. From 30 feet on the accuracy was reduced greatly. Keep in mind the MP5 was designed as a CQB (Close Quarters Battle) weapon.
I feel like this is a good choice if you are just entering into Airsoft and don't want to spend the money on a Tokyo Marui or Classic Army. For the 25-35 dollar price range this gun is great.
Just remember to only fire it on semi-auto and with timed shots.
