Summary: Quality at a good price. 2006-11-16
Comment: This kit will start you right with quality. The CP Sport is the low end of the CP 99 series. But the quality is the same. This gun weigh, feel and look like a real firearm except for the logo and all the caution engraving is in white. It comes with one eight shot speed loader and one CO2 removable clip. Accuracy is great, I can get a 1 1/2 grouping @25'. The rear sight is windage only. Mine was shooting 2" to the left out of the box, but was dead on after adjusting the sight. Releasing the barrel lock will automaticly slide the barrel slide forward and the speed loader rolls right out. So if you have several more speed loader ($15/3) and extra CO2 clip ($40,) you really can go at it. Mine average 70 shots/CO2. Double action only, but it's so smooth it's not a factor if you're target shooting only. Walther is the high end brand of Crosman. If you like the Crosman 1008 series (old or new style,) try the CP Sport.
