The slide comes off to reveal the hop-up adjustible dial thingy and to place the battery in the gun. This pistol comes with a mock silencer that looks cool and ever so slightly increases accuracy.
ONLY USE HIGH QUALITY, .2 GRAM BBS-anything else will either cause it to jam or cause the bbs to fly upwards after about 10 feet. Unjamming the gun is incredibly hard, but is possible if you have a screwdriver, a bamboo stick, and a flashlight. The gun shoots very fast on auto, so make sure you have an extra mag or speedloader to reload once you spray your 30 bbs everywhere. ( Yes, it is accurate, but it feels so good to spray with this gun ) accuracy: 7/10 reliability: 4/10 power: average for a gun this size ------not a good beginner weapon------ 3 of 3 people found the following review helpful: By VeeCee "Vic" (Boston) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: UTG Navy Commando Airsoft Electric Pistol (Sports) I opened the brown package that guaranteed to be at my house in 1 day, and indeed it did. Nice box was unfortunately ripped by my excitement, top slide of the gun is fully metal and magazine holds approximately 30 bbs. Came with charger for a micro battery, a 7.2 NIMH 500 mah batter (if anyone really wants to know), Jamming Rod, Sample pack of BBs, and silencer. The rate of fire for this gun is superb. empties a full clip in literally 3 or 4 seconds. accuracy however is decent. not spectacular, but fair enough for the price .
Pros: GREAT rof (Rate of Fire) Heavy, has metal slide. Good look and Feel. Cons: GREAT ROF = Need for more Mags =[ Non Blowback By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: UTG Navy Commando Airsoft Electric Pistol (Sports) I got this initially as a secondary skirmish weapon, but use it a lot more than I thought I would. It's very versatile having both semi and full automatic modes. It may not be very high power, but it is quite accurate. It looks awesome, and feels just as good; nice weight to it. Battery life is fantastic, and the rail supports my laser/tactical flashlight combo perfectly. I've superglued a velcro patch to the grip for the pressure switch, and it's been a huge advantage when fighting my friends in the back yard at night. The silencer looks cool, and that's about it - it doesn't seem to affect range or accuracy in any way. The slide doesn't slide, so it's not perfect copy of the real deal. It also has a bit of play in the fit, so if you're sprinting with it, it makes some clinking noises. Still, if you want an electric pistol, this is the best performance per dollar I've seen anywhere. I'll be using it in conjunction with my new CO2 blowback Glock on my next "mission"...Read more |
