This AEG feels great in your hand. The detail is very good for being plastic. Even the simulated wood grain is great. The plastic feels thick and solid, not cheap. Shoots accurate to 50-75 ft. Has a neat low tone sound when shoots. In single shot mode there's a slight trigger delay. Full-auto is lots of fun but you run empty way too fast. Buying a 300 rd magazine (separate purchase) for this AEG is a must!
Overall, for the price you can't go wrong with this. A Thompson is a must-have in your arsenal. Unless you have an all-metal one, this is the next best thing.

Gun shoots fairly accurately, gets jammed occasionaly on single fire mode, pop up is just for looks and magazine insertion process is slightly confusing. The description of features states it has a 50 round clip but it does not. The clip holds 35 rounds (accurately described on airsplat.com but didn't know that until I researched for more info) The biggest problem is trying to find an extra magazine for this gun as it seems to not exist. We have tried different sites, the people who sold us this gun (reds gear), amazon and even palcosports. This would have changed my decision to buy this gun if I had known so BEWARE! If anyone knows of a clip for this specific gun THAT WORKS (have orered a few that do not fit right) PLEASE post a comment. Thanks.

To start off.. this is easily the most iconic and most of all my favorite weapon- of all of recorded history. That being said, a replica has to live up to such a persona. .. This ones pretty good. In fact, it's probably one of the best(ish) for it's price. Overall I gave it four stars because it's just too darn light, and everything being cheap plastic. .. But you do tend to forget that just looking at it.
