I bought this pistol to replace the Sig CO2 pistol, because the CO2 pistol would not work for my purposes. My primary purpose for buying this was to scare critters off of my porch without really hurting them. The CO2 pistol would not hold a charge for more than a day, so it was pretty much useless for this task. I bought a (cheaper) 1911 spring operated pistol that was ok, but was highly inaccurate. This pistol provides good accuracy (~3" at 7 yards) and is powerful enough to do the job of spooking the critters, so it gets a 5 star from me.
And before all of the "OMG, it is a poor animal" people start on me, yes, I shot myself (at much closer range than the critters would ever get it) to be sure it really would not permanently hurt them. It stings a bit. That is all.
Pluses:
Prime eligible
Accurate
Not very expensive
Minuses:
For Airsoft players, may not hold enough ammo, but holds more than enough for my purposes.

BEST gun i have so far. This gun has perfect accuracy and shoots very hard.I shot a friend with the gun and when it hit him it bled.It holds 12 rounds (i think).Does not get jammed.IT is built very good strong plastic and a good shooting gun so i recomend this gun for airsoft wars and just playing around with it.I would give it 10 stars if i could and hope this review helped.

The Sig Sauer P226 is a very good gun. It is accurate and has a good feel in the hand. It is not heavy;it is light and small. It is well made. The magazine holds 12; can hold 13 of 6mm. The velocity is 287 Fps. My son says it is not very powerful but goes far. The magazine is a little awkward to load at first but you get used to it.
