A 1:1 scale replica of a Sig Sauer pistol, the SP2022 CO2-powered pistol is remarkably authentic. Like all airsoft guns, the SP2022 fires small plastic pellets known as BBs, which are propelled out of the gun via a CO2-powered mechanism. The advantage of the airsoft pistol, however, is that players can safely train, simulate, or play with the gun without fearing serious injury. The SP2022 looks, feels, weighs, and functions just like a real Sig Sauer firearm, but is built for casual recreation rather than weaponized use. In fact, the only way you can tell a real steel firearm from an airsoft pistol is the blazing orange tip and the BBs that fire when you pull the trigger. The SP2022 offers such features as a versatile BAX hop-up system that lets you adjust your shots and increase your distance, a low tactical rail for attaching accessories, a velocity of 380 feet per second with 0.12-gram BBs, and a magazine load of 15 rounds.

This Sig Sauer pistol is surprisingly accurate with .20 gr ammo, and is powerful enough for what I bought it for. At ~7 yards I could easily hit a 2" cats toy.

The downside (to me) is that it is CO2 powered, and the pistol does not have a tight enough seal to allow you to leave a cartridge in for use a day or two later. In other words, you cannot load it and have it operate two days later, so I am replacing it with a less powerful spring operated pistol. This is not a problem with the pistol as much as my understanding of airsoft devices. I 'assumed' that it would hold the CO2 cartridge hard enough to allow it to sit for a week or so without it losing pressure. Bad assumption on my part. Since it was purchased to scare critters, it is not capable of doing that job without loading a cartridge each time, which makes it pretty much useless for the task I bought it for.

But it does work, and work well when you have a new CO2 cartridge in it, so 4 stars...Read more

The Sig Sauer SP2022 is one of the best CO2 pistols I've had. It is realistic in size and weight, but not too heavy. It shoots about 350 fps and is pretty accurate. Highly recommend this to anyone. Cybergun/SoftAir USA make the best affordable airsoft guns period!

This gun shoots around 320 fps with .2's. Please do not use anything lighter. It uses .12g co2 cartriges and you get about 150-175 full powerd shots in each. Accuracy, ehh just okay. Power, decent. It serves as my backup with my TSD SD702 sniper rifle. If your looking for a gun that gets good use out of co2 and still will leave a mark on someone. This is great. Metal slide and metal mag gives this gun a good weight. The sound is not the quitest in the world but it does sound cool. The trigger will probly start to squeak after 500-1000 shots but its nothing to worry about. Overall decent gun.
