The Softair Colt 1911A1 Spring Powered Airsoft Pistol employs the BAXS Accuracy System for straighter, more accurate trajectories. The pistol offers 0.5 joule of energy to shoot with a maximum velocity of 315 feet per second and a maximum range of 131 feet. The pistol is equipped with a 12-round magazine.

The BAXS Accuracy System:
Tradition hop up systems use two points of contact on the BB (top and bottom), that allow the airsoft guns to shoot to the left or to the right. With the BAXS Accuracy system, Airsoft has incorporated three points of contact with the BB in the design (two at the top and one at the bottom). These three points of contact spread the weight of the BB more evenly, center it, and give it backspin, causing the airsoft gun to shoot straighter and with greater accuracy.

We bought this for our son for Christmas. When he took it out of the package it was broken; the trigger had no "give" and a BB in the chamber rolled right out the front when the gun was cocked and then pointed downward. We took it back to the store and got another one. It worked for about 20 shots and then had the same problem. I took the second one apart and discovered the problem: a plastic hook had broken right in two. My son was so disappointed. He thought he'd done something wrong, handled it wrong so that it broke, but I watched him, he was careful. Are all Airsoft guns like this, or just this model, or did the shipment that came to our store consist entirely of the defective ones?

this gun shoots like 300 fps it leaves welts on my friends from across the street never gets jamed pretty accurate for close and medium range but it has hop up so it will travel up at a distance it disasembles for cleaning and holds 13 bbs the only thing is it takes to long to relod if you have no extra clips so if you want to be in an airsof war with it i recomend getting 2 exra clips for like $8

Me and my friend were hving a airsoft war one day and I smoked him out of the water with this pistoland he had a sniper. It goes like 315 F.P.S. When my friend was charging at me I just pointed and shot and it hit him in the leg it left a big welt. It hardly ever jams, the only time it jammed is when I took it right out of the box it needed to be broke in. Also its the most acurte gun I have used its basicly a point and shoot gun it is so great. And it is very easy to take apart a jam, you just take out one thing. I really recomend to anybody who want's there friend to scream or have a major airsoft war.

Oh yeah I just got a Jing Gong Steyer Aug Military, so the Colt is a really good secondary. Almost was considerd my primary
