The manufacturer states that the M&P 45's velocity is 370 fps. A recent velocity test showed that BBs delivered 360 fps and pellets 350 fps.... S&W M&P 45, incl. 8-rd pellet clip & 8-rd BB clip...

I bought this pistol to teach my wife how to shoot. I set up a range in our basement. We use the pellet wadcutters for practice. Very realistic pistol. Great weight. I did need to adjust the rear sight slightly. (It is easy to adjust). Now I can't keep her out of the basement. I get anywhere from 56 to about 80 rounds per co2 cartridge. One thing the book doesn't tell you is that you can make the trigger a little easier to pull by pulling back the slide a little while you are squeezing the trigger. You will be able to feel the trigger become easier. Then you can release the slide and aim and finish pulling the trigger. Just be careful not to pull the trigger to far while you are pullin the slide back.
Great little pistol.
