This is my first and only electric airsoft rifle that I've owned so far, but I've looked at quite a few guns and done a lot of research since buying this gun, so I'm not a complete "airsoft noob". Here's my take on the 552 commando: This is an all-round good rifle. It's spits out bb's at a good speed, about 330 fps w/ .20 bbs, the hop-up is very adjustable, and it's reasonably accurate up to about 120 feet (I define reasonably accurate as being able to hit a person-sized target on your first or second shot). Also, this gun is accurate to the sights. This gun has a little weight to it; it's not "heavy", but if you're a small or young airsofter, you might want to actually handle the gun before buying to make sure you're comfortable with the weight. The rate of fire is high enough to be competitive, but there's plenty of guns out there with higher rates of fire. This review is from: SIG Sauer 552 High End AEG airsoft gun (Sports) The Swiss Arms SIG Saur 552 AEG 6mm air soft gun, by Cybergun, is overall a great air soft gun. It has a average velocity of 330 fps with .12 bbs. The sights on the gun do need to be adjusted with to get an accurate shot as you change your firing distance. It has 4 different sites that be can be adjusted to the left and right and up and down. It has a winding magazine that is a clear, hard plastic that holds up to 300 bbs, and you are able to see how much ammunition you have left. Also, if you get another magazine, you can attach it right next to magazine the gun comes with. You can get off about 150 bbs before having to rewind the mag again. It has a tactical rail on the bottom of the gun and on the right of the gun. It has a folding stock that can be be held onto like a front-grip when it is folded which is a pretty cool feature. It uses a NiMH battery. It has a very good life on the battery; I went through about 4,000 bbs before having to charge it up again. It weighs above 3...Read more |
