1) the rod you get though is of a high quality but is totally useless as it ends with female end and the jag and brush are also female, thus you cannot mount brush or jag on the rod. there are things that are not needed for cleaning such as pallets targets. When I connected the pyramid air they said that there should not be any adapter for this kit- interesting because then the rod and other cleaning tools are non completable with each other. if you play close attention at the rods on the picture of this product you will see the problem in rod construction. I had to go and get myself another cleaning rod for 5$, oh and jag and brush fit fine on that rod ... 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Albert Oh (Washington, DC, US) - See all my reviews This review is from: RWS Rifle Shooter's Kit, .22 Caliber (Misc.) Bought this kit to service my brand new model 34 classic that started honking like a goose after 50 or so shots. Starting off with the pros of this kit. 1.) Comes with 500 super dome pellets. 2.) Toned down the squeaky cocking action of my gun but didn't get rid of the goose entirely. I think I will try the moly grease route next. now the cons of the kit: 1.) missing the male to male adapter to put the attachments on at the end of the bore stick. This package was sealed tight so i'm not sure why it would be missing. 2.) doesn't come with a lot of cleaning patches. All in all if I were to turn back the clock I would skip buying this kit as the jury is still out on the benefits of Chamber oil and if it is really needed. I would have just saved my money and bought some moly grease, cleaning pellets, and rod separately. |
