Summary: Two words.....The Best 2007-08-01
Comment: I've owned this gun for over 10 years and it shoots better now than its ever shot. My brother has the model's 48 and 52 in the .177 and loves them both. If your looking for a QUALITY pellet rifle, I very highly recommend ANY RWS rifle. You get what you pay for, so if you find it cheaper so be it, buy it, it will last.
I also recommend Beeman pellets. They seem to be more accurate than the RWS pellets. I use .22 Beeman Crow Magnum pellets and it literally turns their chest inside out. Not for kids....

Comment: This rifle is a classic. I do NOT think it should get 1 star from some weiner who found it for LESS, I found it often out of stock on back order, just look at midways site. This rifle is built to last, fits the requirerments most set for this type of airgun. It has taken the place of my main rifle during off season and I find it a joy to shoot. I can hit a chipmunk at 50yrd. My son will enjoy this classic and just think about this, You can upgrade this rifle with new parts if you need to. Try finding parts for Gamo or even others. So weiner go buy the other guys item for less, you get what you pay for. amazon rocks
