I would recommend this air rifle to anyone who is looking for one . It works great , the fiber optic sights are great and accurate out of the box. This rifle is fast and hits hard, small game doesn't stand a chance. The included scope is decent for the price as well .

IMO, this is the greatest bargain in .177 air rifles available today. It is a clone of the RWS34 but, as I have owned both, this rifle makes me happier than the RWS did. It puts out more power and is less trouble prone. I now have 2 of these, one of which is being converted to .22cal. I own several fairly sophisticated air rifles, but the Blackhawks will always be my favorites. They are deadly accurate, totally reliable, easy to maintain and nice to look at and shoot.
Although the open sights that come on these are very adequate, I suggest putting a really good quality scope with sturdy scope rings on them. After a good tune-up, they are capable of shooting match quality accuracy and a good scope really makes them shine.
As for overall power and usefulness, with this rifle, I have had more one-shot, clean, humane kills on squirrels, possums and racoons than I can count.

I bought this so I could stay sharp during the winter. I figured I could plink away at some cans and paper targets in the garage while not having to pay to go to the range...or freeze my rear off in the cold. Little did I know that it would pack such a punch! I quickly realized that 2" thick pine slats weren't going to cut it and had to find a more durable backstop and containment option. I would have given this rifle 5 stars if it were not for the scope. As far as the scope goes it's pretty cheap and fairly poor, but the rifle itself is amazingly accurate for a break breech air rifle. I upgraded to a fairly inexpensive BSA tactical scope and have been very happy. Easily shoots 1/2" groups at 20 yards.
