First impression was very good.Nice finish on rifle stock and nice blueing on metal. Also like the 3-9x40 scope as oppossed to the 4x32 that comes with most other guns. That was one of the deciding factors in my decision. After shooting around 250 rounds I can say that the accuracy has seemed to settled in and improved with barrel break in. I have it zeroed at 40 yds. I am no stranger to shooting and shoot 200-300 yd shots all summer at groundhogs and targets with my .22-250 savage. With much practice over the years I can hold groups of 1/2 inches or under at 200 yards. No brag, just fact. That took a lot of reloading and finding the right recipe for the cartrige. I always shoot from the prone position with bipods. Anyway back to the air gun. I have it down to 3/4 inch groups at 40 yds. This gun was made by crosman (in China) in case you did not know. Impossibly good, fun, accurate and beautiful,

It is weird that I can buy such a superb target air rifle with such a nice trigger, a very good quality scope and excellent accuracy for so little money.
If you've never tried targetry with .177 caliber, this is an outstanding start. Cheap to buy, cheap to keep and 100% fun. Perfect for WINTER basement targetry (on your longest dimension of the house - just illuminate your target well), for training nephews, nieces and grandkids on range safety and targetry and for fun plinking games.
About the scope: Settings and adjustments are great. Can't understand how they can throw in such good optics at this total package price. Of course, a lot of the cost of major caliber scopes is the engineering to make them recoil (shock) proof, but this scope is still a marvel, with wonderful light gathering, no dithering, excellent reticle, etc.
I made my own bullet trap target and illuminated it with a couple cheap single halogen worklights. Fun, fun and more...Read more

I am using this with RWS hunting pellets and it is death incarnate to the rodents that dare to show their ugly little faces in my back yard.
That is all.
