Product Review
Product Description
This airsoft rifle is great for the beginner. Very close in form and function to the real steel M-16A1, this inexpensive airsoft rifle will provide hours of enjoyment. With this M-16A1 replica, the admiration continues in the sports realm of AirSoft. Comes complete with safety goggles and rifle strap.
Amazon.com Product Description
A 1:1 scale replica of an M-16A1 rifle, this airsoft rifle is remarkably authentic. The airsoft rifle fires round pellets known as BBs, which are propelled out of the gun by compressed air. The advantage of the airsoft rifle, however, is that players can safely train, simulate, or play with the gun without fearing serious injury. The airsoft rifle looks, feels, weighs, and functions just like a real firearm, but is built for casual recreation rather than weaponized use. In fact, the only way you can typically tell a real-steel firearm from an airsoft rifle is the blazing orange tip and the BBs that fire when you pull the trigger. The rifle comes complete with 1,000 BBs, safety goggles, a rifle strap, and a BB quick-loading tube.

Specifications:

  • Capacity: 65 rounds
  • Barrel length: 11-1/2 inches
  • Dimensions: 39 inches long, 10-1/4 inches tall

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Gun, May 28, 2006

This is a great gun, that is of course if you can handle it. A lot of people say this gun breaks easily, or has bad aim, but then again, think of the people who are writing the reviews. Most of them are little kids who don't know what they're doing, and will throw it agains a tree and say it sucks if it breaks. With my experience with this gun, it has had it's flaws, but they're not unfixable. If you jam the mag into the loading chaimber to hard and overloaded, the rubber stopper will dislocate, and you will end up losing your rounds in the barrel, but if this happens, all you need to do is some simple re-assembely, as in put the stopper back into the white chaimber that attaches to the barrel.
Another thing that I found was wrong was that it was difficult to sight. Easy fix. Mount a Daisy 4X scope on the side of the ironsight and there you go. Honestly, it's not the gun, it's the user. With the proper amount of care and respect to your gun, it will become a great weapon...Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Fun, July 24, 2004
This review is from: M16A1 Airsoft Rifle (Sports)
Don't let the other review(s) make you uneasy. This rifle isn't a piece of crap. Although it needs to be used carefully (it is plastic) the gun can still function properly as long as you don't drop it all the time, etc. This may be a rifle, but it probably isn't as accurate as you would want, you can still hit a pop can from about ten feet away easily. If you are willing to pay at least fifty bucks for a rifle, go ahead. If you want to get a rifle for an amount that doesn't leave you broke, than this is not a bad rifle for 35 bucks.

OMG OMG O-M-G THIS GUN ROX EVERYONES SOX! I got home from school and there it wuz! i opened it up and put it togeter
first i will say the bad things
1. a little bit hard to assemble i mean if not tht hard if ur a teenager but if ur like 11 years old u might need a parents help!
2. its kinda hard to fill the clip but not impossible
3. THATS ALL!
now the good things
1. holds alot of bb's
2. shoot really really hard
3. once u shoot it, it goes straight for a long way.
4. very accurate
5. LOOK VERY VERY REALISTIC
6. its fun to scare people with
so overall for this price i say get this gun if u wunna play your opponents and kick their butts then get it. if u wunna have fun get it.
and also im 13 and i kno tht those people who say bad stuff about are just really bad aimers and probly have dropped it like 500 times. so just dont drop it or hit it against somthing out of anger and your are good.
