I love the AUG gun because of its different design and the way it functions, so when i got into air-soft i know that i needed an AUG styled gun. this gun is amassing for the price, but its not perfect: the iron sites are garbage, the flash hider is neon orogen and plastic, the mag. doesn't cycle bb into the barrel every time you pule the trigger, the battery and charger suck, but these are miner complaints that are easily fixed and are cheap to fix. but on the upside the gun shouts fast, it has a two stage trigger for quick changes from semi-auto to full-auto (witch has saved my but a ton of times!), its balanced, the for grip is grate, it's accurate up to 200 feet (with is ridicules [but i have mine sited in for 100ft because its more overall accurate]), its barrel is long for such a short gun, and its compacted! i would give this gun out of the box a 8 out of 10!
Tips: when you first get this gun take it apart and lobe the cocking lever pistons to make it more easier to...Read more

Styer Aug AEG,

The Aug arrived about a week after I ordered it. It came in a brown paper package, which I excitedly took up stairs and tore open. It gave way to reveal a fairly standard airsoft box covered with shrink rap. The box had no markings official markings, only a name, AU1G (they didn't have any official licensing, so they couldn't name it a AUG, since that is a trademark of styer arms) the front half of the box was card board with back made of foam. I charged the battery, whither the charger it came with, which a smart charger, conveniently. It took six hours. While the battery was charging, I attempted to put a mini type 9.6v battery in it, to increase it's shooting speed and power. It would not fit. I then tried a butterfly type 9.6v I also had. It barely fit.
The gun
It is made mostly of plastic, like the actual version. This makes it light weight, only 4or5 pounds. The parts that are actually metal, bolt, barrel, sights, etc, are metal. There are no markings on...Read more

This gun is great, I ordered it about 2 months ago and didn't use it until yesterday in a legit match, and I did very good with it. The bullpup design looks really nice on the field compared to everyone else's regular M4's, and numerous people asked me where I got it. The grip works great and is a little tricky to fold up and down at first but you'll get used to it. The sights that it comes with are plastic and pretty worthless, but they're not that important if you just use the rail. (However you should probably buy a sight.) I was aiming at a rather large leaf from about 40 meters away and hit it right on center. I suggest messing with the hop-up and getting it just how you like it, because obviously it's not perfect out of the box. I did have to send the gun back the first time though because whenever I plugged in the battery the gun immediately began to fire, even though I wasn't pulling the trigger and the cocking mechanism was rusty and would not slide back completely. But when...Read more
