This gun blows me away. I've been airsofting for over 5 years and i would say that this gun is one of my favorite aegs. I destroyed 22 others with just this gun, 8 midcaps and a whole lot of bbs. For it's durability, price, and reliability, I will never let this gun
go.

I was looking for an M4 AEG because I did not have one. After doing some searching and review reading I decided this G&G Combat Machine R16 Carbine was worth a try. Mine is black.
The first thing that caught me by surprise was the cost. I paid $145 with free shipping (Amazon - shipped from Pyramyd Air). If it was really as good as they say then this is a steal!! Even with free shipping I got it in 3 days. When I removed it from the box (not the best box I have seen) I was impressed by its overall look and feel. It's a fairly close 1:1 replica of an M4. All of its features are about as close to actual firearm as you get in an AirSoft gun including the weight. It even has nice stenciling on the side of the magazine well. It comes with a muzzle/dust cap for the end of the barrel. Very nice replica.
The Spec's of the Gun itself are about average for a "better" AEG. That is what you would find in the $200 or better price range. (Remember this is an $145 gun). It is...Read more

Good Internals With Cheaper and Realiable Externals,

As a Sportline many guns do not perform as well as the prolines but however in the case of the G&G Combat Machine the gun performs on par as the Proline full metal version. The only difference is that the body is made of a very strong polymer plastic material. It is not some cheap plastic, but more similar to what real guns polymer guns are made of (ex. HK G36). By making the body polymer it saves up the production cost. To the advantage of having the polymer version is that it is much lighter to carry around.
The gun overall is great and reliable. The motor can handle a lot of electricity, and a 9.6 volt is an easy upgrade, i do not reccommend the 11.1 lipo battery but i have heard many people using it flawlessly in the gun. *NOTE Gun does not include batteries.
I reccommend this gun for starters or experts that have a bunch of parts so they can upgrade a gun's internals.
