This air rifle is awesome! It is very accurate I shot a snowshoe hare at forty yards off hand right through the neck. I have killed tons of snowshoe hares with it and three squirrels. The scope was terrible the crosshairs jumped around about every twenty shots., so I put a red dot in it. This thing also has power, it can kill a snowshoe hare with one shot. And us alaskan's know that is not easy, beacause snowshoe hares are much larger than cottontails. This is an awesome air rifle!

I just purchased this Gamo Hornet air rifle and have been enthused with getting to know how it handles. I find the rifle works well but the scope takes some getting used to and I have actually been unable to fully zero in this scope. While I think the rifle deserves 5 stars the scope must bring this down to a 3 star item. If you have another scope that you can mount on this rifle, this purchase is for you but if you want a high quality rifle and scope I'm afraid you must look elsewhere.

Great price at amazon and could not beat the free shipping. This rifle is no toy. It is powerful and pretty accurate with the stock scope. It has a really nice bull barrel and a high tech looking synthetic stock. Overall it is a well made rifle. I have had benjamins in the past and this one I think will stand the test of time, even in Hawaii.
