Summary: BUY THIS IF YOU WANT THE BEST SPRING PISTOL 2010-08-20
Comment: people that sell this gun for less than $30 are idiots (not that i want them to sell it for more). i love using it as a sidearm. i only have a few complaints. the one that i got didnt let you push the safety down all the way because the handguard was in the way but maybe mine was the only one that had poor construction. i discovered this when i took the handguard off one day.i fixed it by cutting a little piece off the corner that was stopping the safety. also after the bb flies out of the gun after about 40-50 feet it starts to curve in any direction it wants. i use .12 gram bbs and using .20 gram bbs would fix this problem but ihave 6000 .12g bbs. so for now im using .12. those are my only complaints and they aren't even real ones. so i say BUY IT!!!!!! ITS WORTH IT!!!

Comment: This gun is great. I bought 2 of them. It looks and feels like a real gun. It is so accurate with .20 gram bbs. The only thing I do not like about this gun is that if you want .20 gram bbs it only takes these bbs called flying colors. Other than that this gun is awesome. I recommend it.

Comment: Although the unit fits well in the hand, seems pretty well made, and is easy to use, it doesn't pack much punch. I had hoped for enough power to persuade squirrels to stay away from my bird feeder.

Summary: My review of the Smith & Wesson SoftAir M4505 Spring Powered Pistol 2010-07-04
Comment: Great gun, it has amazing accuracy. I can hit a pencil from 30 ft away. The fps is pretty good, and its range is about 100-120 ft. its a good first gun, as well as a trusty sidearm as you get more into the sport of airsoft.

-magazine is clear plastic (it is weighted though)
-orange tip came off a few days after it shipped (easy to put back on)

Comment: I had been using a cheaper airsoft pistol for a while, but my friend showed me his smith and wesson airsoft ( not this one), and i was very impressed. I ordered this pistol (use fogdog. very good service), which came in 3 days. I hit shots with this pistol i didnt think were possible with ease. Careful: this pistol is very powerful, and could seriously hurt someone if used improperly. Only thing that takes getting used to is the magazine. you WILL lose bbs if you are not careful. All in all, this gun is amazing
