I purchased this item on Sept. 4 for my son birthday. i received the Echo 1 in a fair amount of time. Upon receiving the product i never opened it until the 19 on my son birthday. That's when the fun really began, not because of the great deal that it came with, but the trouble that followed. I contacted the seller and informed him that the product didn't work and I wished to return the item and receive a refund. The seller assured me that I needed a new battery and that the gun didn't come with one and by purchasing a new battery it would fix the problem. I would've done this but the seller has no clue as to what he sold since i was holding the battery that came with the gun IN MY HAND! Thus he called me a lier basically and after almost 25 min of back and forth he finally gave me a return address to return the item. I knew after we had hung up that I was in for a adventure to get my money back. It took 72 days to finally receive a partial refund and thanks to Amazons A-Z claims...Read more  starter gun, This review is from: Echo 1 Sub Gun 2 AEG Retractable Stock airsoft gun (Misc.) ive been playing airsoft for 5-6 years now ive had springers and cheap automatics i got my first high performance gun in 05 this is my 4th gun since then ive had this since august the gun is small but its solid its mostly plastic but the barrel and mag r metal i have an 120 spring in mine so mine shoots about 425fps however out of the box it does about 300-350 this is a good CQB gun however ur not gonna make any long shots with it,it just doesnt have the range i use mine as a side arm (which is why it shoots so hard) however if ur a beginer i recomand the full stock version so u dont have to worrey about ur battery dying.i recomand this gun for anyone trying to get into airsoft or is taking the step from cheap electrics to high end guns echo 1 is great for new players because theyre the cheapest high end brand from my experince i can say the guns r reliable and they come with a battery and a charger most high end brands dont however i recomand buying a new battery and smart charger...Read more |
