This gun says nickel plated, but the finish is shabby at best, there's pock marks all over it. The revolving part of the gun rattles, the barel is bent down, the revolving mechanism broke after about a week, and then the entire barel of the gun broke off! It is a good gun if you are not going to use it or take it out of the holster. As soon as you get it, you will be disappointed at how cheaply this thing was made. I've bought a couple Denix guns, and every single one of them broke or doesn't work properly. DO NOT BUY THIS
This is a great gun,

The reviewer who did not like this gun must be working for another replica gun maker. There is NOTHING wrong with this product. I have purchased several differnt gun replicas and this is one of the finest I have. The It stacks up well against any I have seen on the market. The weight and balance feels verry much like a real one. As for the finish, mine is a verry high polished metal, with no flaws.

I had many reasons for buying this replica. It was at a low price on Amazon and came fast with Prime shipping. Also, Denix makes top replicas.
But the top point for me, was that it could be the gun right from my favorite western, Once Upon a Time in the West. Henry Fonda goes against character and plays the cold blooded killer Frank. Not even children or his own gang is safe from a bullet from his nickel long colt.
While this is a replica not a toy, I still found myself "shooting" this gun and pretending to be the cold killer with blue eyes.
Anyone would like this as part of their Western collection.
