Daisy Outdoor Products 901 Gun (Black, 37.5 Inch)

I bought this rifle a few months ago and have put about 1000 rounds through it. It can be a great plinker, or even a hunting rifle for small game. Be aware it only has great accuracy if you shoot pellets through it (I use crosman pointed hunting pellets) and it's also recommended to get a good scope. I put on a tasco 3-9x40 and once it was dialed in i was getting groups within a inch. I can hit a penny at 30 yards which is incredible. I've bagged quite a few birds, squirrels, and rabbits with this rifle too, just make sure you get a headshot. This is definitely recommended as a beginners rifle, or a good cheap rifle for an experienced shooter.

This air rifle is fantastic fun. Shooting either .177 caliber BB's (bolt action) or pellets (single shot) means plenty of choice of ammo. I generally found pellets to be more accurate when outdoors but the BB's were perfectly adequate for shots within a normal range. It should be noted that this is NOT a toy. It is perfectly capable of killing small vermin and should not be used unsupervised by children. I think this is the best value for money air rifle available in the 700-900 FPS range.

gun is light accurate quiet. i mounted a scope so loading pellets is cumbersome for me(big fingers). shooting BB's very easy to load & chamber. as a suggestion since this will be mostly used by young children it should have an auto safety. It has a good velocity not to difficult to pump. recommend this gun as a good beginner gun
