Daisy Powerline 15XTP air pistol

This Daisy model is a lot of gun for the money. With a muzzle velocity of 420-450 fps, it's no toy. Shooting glasses are mandatory: even a ricochet could do serious damage. Besides packing a wallop, it's reasonably accurate for a smooth bore BB pistol. And it has the look and feel of "the real thing". Only time will tell whether the reliability of the pistol's performance will match the quality of its physical appearance.

Installing the required CO2 cartridge is easy. Manually loading the 15-shot magazine is a pain, so get an auto loader. The "red dot" sight couldn't be easier to use - put the red dot on the target and fire. One caveat when sighting in: the adjustment screws on the sight adjust continuously, not by clicks, so be sure to observe the positions of the slots in the screw heads before beginning calibration. We purchased this air pistol to replace the second air pistol, by a competitive manufacturer, that failed in less than two years of light use. We've both (wife and I) found this air pistol to be very accurate, and, so far, reliable.
Time will tell. So far, 5 stars.

This gun is great gun for beginers. But those who are experience with co2 powers firearms will not care for this pistol because of the horrible trigger-pull, the co2 leaks, and the red dot does nothing but throw you off aim. Awsome power (F.P.S), and with out the red dot sight perfect aim. Horrible gun for the money. 3\5 are defective also.
