Daisy Model 840 Grizzly B air rifle

My son loves it. The only bad thing I can see is that the pellet loading is a little tricky for a young shooter as you need to move the action slightly forward before loading to prevent the pellet from going into the BB hole. The optical sight was a +.

My mother, oddly enough, wanted her own BB gun for Mother's Day this year. We now have a house in the middle of the woods with no visible neighbors so we can shoot any type of gun and be ok with it. She was always a fan of going to shooting galleries at fairs and amusement parks and thought it would be fun to have her own toy gun she can use on some targets in our backyard. The problem with most BB guns, though, was the fact that they were too difficult to pump.

I own a standard 8 - 10 pump gun and she would barely be able to pump it once. She needed a gun that had some power but was very easy to pump. This one fits the bill and is very accurate and powerful for only being a one pump gun. It occasionally has some issues loading the next BB properly but a good shake here and there gets everything back to normal again. The Daisy Model 840 Grizzly BB air rifle is available in most sporting goods stores. I was able to view the product at the store and then get a much better price and have it delivered to my door by using Amazon. The gun is small and quiet. This is the 5th different model Daisy air rifle I have purchased. The rifle is easy to arm, and meets the needs it was intended for. I have not used the gun to fire pellets but enjoy it as a BB gun.
