Summary: Great power and accuracy, but plastic... 2006-08-08
Comment: Daisy let out a nice BB gun when they made this one. Ive taken squirrels out of trees from 100 feet, and killed them. With six pumps you can kill most small animals, squirrels, pigeons, doves, rabbits, etc. One pump will easily clear your yard of unwanted larger pests like cats and dogs. Loading BBs is very easy. Pull back the chamber loading lever then give it one to ten pumps. (Over ten will break off the pump, easily fixable) Pellets take a while though. Almost every scope mounts easy, but must be sighted in. The only drawback is its made of plastic and scratches and chips easy. Great power, extremly accurate, swift loading, and good for pests.

Summary: Daisy 880S disappoints 2006-02-27
Comment: Nicely made, but couldn't sight it in to save my life. Wildly inaccurate with or without the scope.
Replaced my 30+ year old Crossman 760 that finally died. The 880S is going back and a new Crossman will be coming home.
