Titan GP rifle Breakbarrel Gas piston Ambidextrous, ergonomic thumbhole stock Dual raised cheekpieces Muzzlebrake for added leverage 2-stage adjustable trigger Reduced vibration due to the gas piston Much quieter than other breakbarrels Includes unmounted 4x32 scope & mount (no open sights) If you shoot a lightweight pellet so its velocity exceeds the speed of sound, it could result in your pellet breaking the sound barrier and the gun being louder than expected! The speed of sound depends on humidity, temperature and altitude. Generally speaking, it's between 1,060 fps and 1,115 fps. Here are the benefits of the Nitro Piston: Smoother cocking Smoother shooting No spring torque No spring fatigue, even if you leave it cocked for hours Functions perfectly in cold weather Lasts longer than a metal spring Click on the ammo link for recommended pellets & the accessories link for safety glasses, targets & more.... 1200 fps w/lead-free pellets, 1000 fps w/lead pellets...

The other review on this rifle gives it 1 star. If you shoot this rifle the same way you do a non-springer, you'll never get decent accuracy. To shoot it well, you have to 1) hold it TIGHT against your shoulder and 2) let the front float. That is, you can't rest the barrel or front stock on any solid surface other than your unsupported arm. You do this, it's a tack driver. If you rest the barrel on a branch or a book or a windowsill (or grip the front stock firmly and rest your elbow on something solid)and it'll hop all over the place. I have to go through the checklist on firm butt front float every time I shoot it, or I'll forget and rest it on something and screw up my shot.

It has been 20 years since I have even fired an air rifle, but I purchased a Crosman Nitro Titan GP .22 a few months ago & must have fired at least 1000 or so pellets by now. Its a very solid & well built air rifle, well balanced. The thumb hole stock is great. It is very quiet.

I immediately replaced the scope on mine. Its was terrible. This is where they seriously skimped out on this gun. Some accuracy is possible, but it will continuously keep coming loose & you will have to sight it back in again. Do yourself a favor & buy a new scope with a one piece mount. This rifle deserves a quality scope.

The accuracy & power continue to amaze me. It is a real tack driver. I bought 8 different brands & weights of pellets & it will shoot every one differently. High or low depending on the grain of the pellet.

If you are looking to eradicate the area of squirrels or rabbits or just quietly target shoot in the backyard. This rifle in .22 will do...Read more

I managed to get this gun on sale for $99.00. It came with a scope, (which was garbage) and no pellets! Where I live (Northwest Oh) .22 cal air rifles are rare. So picking up ammo can be a challange. At any rate, I like this gun, and power. The wood stock is not the greatest material but, what do you expect for $100.00 bucks! For taking out tree rats, it is unsurpassed! I nailed a squirrel in my neighbors front yard last week FROM ACROSS THE STREET IN HIGH WIND! Used Crossmon Premeir hollow points, and flipped it clean over! If you purchase this gun, you have to bear in mind that it has a unique signature,(the position of the chamber in relation to the barrel) and you are shooting 14.3 grain pellet. Depending upon your resting hand, you may not get consistent groupings on a fixed target. That's life, get over it. Once you find the sight picture of YOUR WEAPON this gun is a blast to shoot, and can be quite deadly. Happy hunting!
