I needed a good quality, accurate CO2 pellet rifle that uses AirSource larger cartridges at a good price. I needed it to plunk some Javelinas in their back sides because they rip up our irrigation systems and wipe out all plant life.

I had good experiences with Crosman forty years ago, so I thought I would give this a try. I am extremely pleased with the quality and the accuracy is excellent! I was able to dial in the sights to consistently hit a soda can at 50 yards. Now that is really impressive! I can't imagine a better gun for this price. Two thumbs up!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pellet Rifle, July 29, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Received my Crosman 1077AS air rifle 2 days ago. Was surprised at how much better balanced it is with the 88 gram CO2 cartridge attached than my old 1077 air rifle was. It is also much more accurate and much quieter. I would recommend this air rifle to anyone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Crosman 1077 Air Rifle., July 31, 2011

This review is from: Crosman Semi-Auto Pellet Airsource 1077 Air Rifle with Airsource Adaptor and One Air Source Cylinder (Sports)
I purchased the Crosman 1077 Air Rifle wanting a semi-auto plinkster, and it delivered. I will go and divide this review into separate categories,.

Accuracy: 3/5 stars The accuracy of the 1077 Air rifle is decent. I find mine likes to shoot right, however with the adjustable sights I managed to make it fairly accurate. The trigger however is difficult (at least for me with my model)It isn't as accurate as some of my other pump guns, but the 12 shot clip makes up for it. It does have a scope mount, however I haven't put a scope on it.(my scope mount from my break barrel doesn't fit and I can't justify purchasing it just for this)

Firepower:4/5 stars It uses the standard co2 canisters, or the 88 gram canisters with the adapter. The fps is rated at 625. I think it might be a tad faster with a new canisters. Its chambered in .177 fine for its role. No problems with fire power a little weak for small game hunting, but defiantly doable...Read more
