First off, this "pistol" is big. It comes with a fixed shoulder stock to turn it into a carbine. It's difficult to make a conventional sized pistol in a PCP due to the air pressure tube capacity needed to give you a reasonable number of shots and power. The Marauder is the best available.
It is accurate, powerful, and reasonably quiet. It is not quiet as the Marauder rifle. However, it is the most powerful air powered pistol on the market today. It is fully capable of dispatching pests around the yard. I would estimate it's effective range, for pest control, to be 40 to 50 yards. Rats, possums, nuisance birds, and armadillos are well within the power of this PCP. With an eight shot magazine, it is capable of fast followup shots if needed.
700 fps is possible with lighter .22/5.5mm pellets. However, the foot pounds of energy produced at lower fps is still sufficient to easily dispatch pests with 14.5gr Crosman pellets on your property.

This air gun is a bit much as a "pistol" but with the included shoulder stock, I love it! It's dead on accurate. I measure the promissed 700 fps with RWS Hobby pellets (light for .22). Effort to pump it up seemed to me minimal considering the 40 or so full power shots I get from one fill.
It is important to note that while the grip looks just like that on cheap Crosman models, the innards are totally, utterly different and work as advertised. The trigger is excellent out of the box and only improves with use.
Considering the barrel length, this air gun is respectably quiet. At the full 3000 psi fill pressure, it's nearly silent. After eight or ten shots, the sound increases noticeably. It gets louder as the pressure drops. For a hunt where you may not get in many shots, be sure to start out with the pressure at the maximum. Unfortunately, for a backyard shooter, it's not as quiet as one might wish after the first several shots.

I purchased this air pistol to deter, nuisances pest around my yard. After ordering a Scope, ( not from Amazon )and sighting it in, I was very happy with the performance of this weapon. It is well built, and has minimum noise associated with its discharge. I enjoy shooting it, and can get off 30 shots before the air pressure drops to 2000, ( 3000 max load pressure ). I have not tried the gun stock that comes with it, but I'm sure it would only enhance its accuracy. I wanted the sight that is pictured on the pistol when I was shopping, but could not find it available on the amazon sight. I recommend you talk to a good optics dealer since the mounting is a dove tail setup, and not all sights will fit. (it does not come with sights) I would recommend this air pistol for any of your close range shooting. Dave
