I have a Benjamin Discovery in .22 and wanted an air pistol as a backup in the same cal, so I returned the 1377 and bought this one, and I am glad I did.
It looks exactly the same as a 1377 minus the barrel. I will be modifying it for more fps, I think it would be possible to gain app. 70 fps with a flat top piston n ported valve.
Some F1 chrony #s with 10 pumps
Crosman Hollow points 14.3gr, 415fps
various Gamo 15.3gr, just under 400fps
JSB Exact 18gr, 360ish
Gamo 22gr 300ish fps

Exactly what I expected... good quality and solid construction. I was not and am not concerned about the plastic stock and handgrips... it is very high quality material. All in all a good buy. I only wish Pyramid Air was an Amazon Prime merchant.

I received this Crosman 1322 .22 air pistol from UPS the other day and tried it out in the back yard immediately. The gun is fairly accurate, but its power (at least on mine) seemed very low. I could literally see the pellets flying towards the targeted cans after i shot them. Normally, even at around a 400 feet per second, I can't see the pellets, so I suspect that the gun I purchased may be only shooting in the 300's (at 10 pumps with Crosman hollow points), although I don't have a chrono to check. The slow speed on the pellets affect accuracy, and I don't think shots beyond 20 yards would be accurate at all. In addition shots shots beyond 20 yards seem to lack power. As a back yard plinker this is a decent little gun. Unfortunately, I was hoping for a pistol that I could possibly use as a small game hunter along with a more powerful rifle. In that sense this gun is a big disappointment - it probably wouldn't cleanly kill anything more than a starling or house sparrow, and...Read more
