The Dboys K98 Airsoft gun is a very nice replica, but its not without its flaws.
Aesthetics:
The gun stock is immitation wood made out of plastic. Its nice enough at a distance, it takes a close look to see the seams to find out it is plastic. The rest of the gun is all metal, the receiver, trigger guard, barrel, barrel bands, the but-pltae, the bolt, and the internal magazine. The finish is decent, but wears out faster than the real steel (to be expected). The receiver is devoid of any markings whatsoever, such as "K98" or anything really. despite that little annoyance, the rifle's appearance is excellent, though noticably lacking when compared to my K98.
Performance:
The K98's hop up adjustment is very odd, its located under the sight and uses an allen wrench to adjust. The gun itself has decent accuracy, disapointing for a springer. It won't miss wildly, but it won't be dead on either. Cocking this rifle is a real challenge, due to how it works. It...Read more

Was very excited to give this gun to my teenage son for a gift but was very disappointed when I realized it is a piece of junk. The bolt action on this gun was very loose, almost falling apart and the cleaning rod is bent and broken also. When I called the retailer, they said that it is supposed to be that way because all the ones they have are like that. This just tells me that they are made cheap and not work half the money I spent. The stock is cheap hollow plastic and made to break. My teenage son would have this broken in a day of I gave it to him for Christmas. Am in the process now of fighting with the retailer (AirsoftXP) to return for a refund, they only want to give store credit. It came in an unmarked plain cardboard box with no manufacturing package... SPEND YOUR MONEY ON SOMETHING ELSE
