Amazon.com Product Description
A 1:1 scale replica of an actual M4 grenade launcher rifle, this Boyi automatic electric airsoft LPEG is remarkably authentic. The Boyi M4 fires round 6mm plastic pellets known as BBs, which are propelled out of the gun by compressed air. The advantage of the airsoft rifle, however, is that players can safely train, simulate, or play with the gun without fearing serious injury. The M4 looks, feels, weighs, and functions just like a real firearm, but is built for casual recreation rather than weaponized use. In fact, the only way you can typically tell a real-steel firearm from an airsoft rifle is the blazing orange tip and the BBs that fire when you pull the trigger. The Boyi M4 is considered a low-powered electric rifle (LPEG) due to the use of a plastic gearbox (PGB), making it an ideal entry-level introduction to electric airsoft guns. The M4 includes batteries and a charger for a perfect all-in-one airsoft setup.

Specifications:

  • Compatible with 0.12-gram, 6mm BBs
  • 260 fps
  • Interchangeable RIS fore grip
  • Pump-action grenade launcher
  • 2 magazines, 50 rounds
  • Made in China

Summary: Worst gun ever 2010-08-30
Comment: This gun is terrible I recieved this gun on July 19 and it broke 2 days later . I own a spring m16 a4 that still works and I have had it almost a year. Take my advice and do not buy from airsplat because when I tried to send it back it would cost 50 bucks to send it back so I ended up throwing it away. This gun was a waste of time and money. I think you should save up your money and buy a bolt action sniper rifle. If I could I would give this gun negitive 100000 stars

Summary: m4 lpeg rifle 2010-08-10
Comment: ok this review might be long but this gun is a great buy its worth the money i got mine in like 2 days i had some problem at first changing out the barrels with the push down barrel hold that is a spring. the grenade auncher iisnt even a grenade launcher just stick some bbs down the barrel pump and shoot more like a shotgun if u ask me. the gun hits about 270 fps the 50 and 300 round magazine it came with worked well but burned rounds quick buy some extra magazines off airsplat or something like that.the peq box doesnt work just for show or u can put the battery in it it comes with tactical rails for scopes or holographic sights. also coms with a fore grip for some support when firing. Made mainly metal the stock is plastic that is the only plastic part really. charge the battery for 30-60 minutes. use only .20 gram bbs with this gun lower quality bbs will jam and eventually break the feeding mechanisim inside the gun. WORTH THE BUY

Summary: very good 2010-07-26
Comment: i bought this gun when it was for $60 dollars but i can see why they raised the price because this is a very good gun. i have had this gun for 3 months now used it near every day and only the tactical r.i.s rails have broke but are easily fixable with some super glue. both clips are metal and the iron sights have some metal in them to. it is strongly suggested to buy some more clips because this gun has a very high rate of fire. do not buy this gun if you want the grenade launcher because it sucks. this gun shoots much harder than 260 with .20 i clocked it at 301-305 fps. in conlusion this should be classified as a middle class gun not a lpeg

Summary: seems good at first then... 2010-07-23
Comment: At first after looking at all the good reviews it seemed good. but once you really use it, it sucks. When i got it the grenade launcher didn't work. I took it apart and spent a hour fixing it and putting it back together and one screw on it was bent it really sucked the grip on that it comes withe sucks it wobbles around. even though it comes with two stocks you cant remove the other one.what looks like a laser is a battery holder the instructions don't even tell you how long to charge it. when i got it, it would fire two shots on semi auto sometimes note even be able to pull the trigger the only way I found to fix that is to fire a few shots on full auto semi auto would then work until i switched it back to safe. and on full auto ,if you fire for too long it will burn the geers also full auto uses the whole mag in 6 seconds. the high cap mag dosnt work for long after using it twice it then breaks.the only nice things are is the top sight and the looks i used the top sight thing as a carry handle on my paintball gun. If you have the money and are thinking about getting either paintball or air soft choose paintball I tried both i had a other air soft gun and it was ok. I have a paintball gun and it is a blast people say air soft is more real and has cheaper ammo and cheaper guns but when your playing air soft there is cheaters and there is alout less of a scare. I think that paintball is more real because there is a scare of being shot. if you want it to be more real buy a tippmann 98 and make it customized. overall I do not recomend this to a friend try out paintball you will love it
