Hi, when i first saw this gun it looked pretty cheapy. But once i actually handled the gun i realized that i was completely mistaken. The body is made out of hard durable plastic and the barrels are made out of metal. It shoots alot farther than 290 fps, its more like 340 fps but the first 30 shots or so it tends to go a little off course, but it eventually straitens out. I would highly recommend this gun for starters as well as middle class airsoft players.
