This is another bottom end "replica" that probably started out as a cigarette lighter. The handles are plastic the rest of the gun is die cast metal. While you can cock and release the hammer the cylinder does not rotate realistically. This gun is another low cost option that can be made to look better with some modeling skills.( see my other reviews) I plan on disassembling mine and refinishing it in a matt black and gold (brass) colors to closer resemble what I was looking for. In size it compares well to the shooting replica I have but it is much lighter weight. The basic shape seems good but some of the details are wrong. Do not expect the same quality as something costing twice to three times the price.

The cost of this replica is cheap, so you get a cheap gun. You get plastic grips, and an ugly peace of metal that dosen't do much. It feels cheap and I am scared to use it for what I bought it for. I was hoping for a good, cheap movie prop, but this woun't cut it for the hero. (maybe I'll stick it in the background of one shot) It is an okay peace to sit on your mantal, but not much more.

I am a filmmaker and I have held this gun and for the purpose it would serve and the price I think this is a good deal. This gun has a nice weight to it, other than the plastic handle it serves as a great western prop.
